Course overview: In these years, machine learning is one of the hot topics in the computation world. Machine learning (ML) is a branch of artificial intelligence(AI) that builds computer programs that can learn from data (like a human) and repeat the process to improve results. 
In this course, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of machine learning and major learning algorithms. All examples and exercises will be in the geoscience domain. After learning the basic algorithms and model fitting process, you will be able to estimate target parameters from existing data. You will also be able to evaluate model results using appropriate evaluation metrics to see how your model works properly.
